Our Orientation
The first week of the semester is set aside for the orientation of new students. Undergraduate students are required to sit for placement tests. These tests DO NOT affect your admission status but are meant to gauge your basic competencies in the respective subjects as you join the University. Results of the Placement Tests shall be shared with you by the Academic Advising team during orientation week.
Placement Test Schedule - Fall Semester 2024
There will be an opportunity for students residing in Nairobi and its environs to sit for placement tests on campus as scheduled below.
Those who are outside Nairobi will be given another opportunity to sit for the same tests the following week.

NB: There will be an opportunity for students who have access to computers to do the placement exams online on 28th and 29th. Students residing in Nairobi can also visit the campus on the same days i.e. 28th and 29th April.
Students who are not able to do their placement tests online are encouraged to come with their laptops for the placement tests during orientation week. However, computer will be availed by the University for the Tests.
For those opting to carry their laptops, the following Minimum Specifications apply:
Win 8 or higher; MacOS 10.12 and can maintain charge for an entire Test period (90 minutes). Ensure that the Laptops have administrative rights for downloading and installing software.
