As part of the strategic plan (2015/2020) implementation, the school decided to develop a research agenda. Research is one of the essential components of a modern and cost-effective science program. As such, it is critical to develop a plan that focuses the research needed to ensure the school has the necessary knowledge to inform the strategic objectives and priorities. The survey conducted revealed key priority areas that should be addressed for effective research in the department. These areas are Data Analytics, Networking & Telecommunications, IT Risk Management, e-government, and Software Engineering
