Leparan Gideon Morintat, is the MD & CEO of National Oil Corporation of Kenya (NOC). Prior to his appointment at NOC, he was d.light SOLAR’s Country Manager for Ethiopia and Horn of Africa and was based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Leparan also sits on the Board of Directors of the Petroleum Institute of East Africa (PIEA) and is a member of the National Upstream Petroleum Advisory Committee (NUPAC).

He has more than 17 years’ leadership and management experience in the Oil & Gas, Energy, Infrastructure, and ICT industries gained in leading multinational corporations among them MultiChoice Africa, Mitsui & Co. Ltd of Japan, Royal Dutch Shell Group and Equity Bank Group.

Leparan holds an MBA in Strategic Management from USIU-Africa (Class of 2019). He is a member of the Petroleum Institute of East Africa (PIEA), Kenya Institute of Management (KIM), Marketing Society of Kenya (MSK) and Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM).
