The Board of Trustees shall have and exercise the following functions:-

1. Appoint members of the University Council;
2. Raise funds for the benefit of the university;
3. Promote the objects of the university;
4. Appoint the university Chancellor;
5. Receive the audit of the university;
6. Investigate complaints arising from the operations of the university that would affect the sustainability or integrity of the university; and
7. Approve investment of funds.
