Biography:

Dr. Paula Mwikali Musuva is currently a lecturer in Forensic Information Technology at the United States International University-Africa where she teaches specialized courses in Information Security, Audit and Digital Forensics. She has worked as a Senior Technology Consultant at Deloitte East Africa and as a Team Leader and Network and Security Engineer at Seven Seas Technologies.

She has over 15 years’ work experience. Her earlier projects involved implementing networking and security technologies within the region - in Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda and Ethiopia. She also has experience in IT Service Management and has been part of ITIL implementation in the UK and has lead an IT Service Management team in Kenya. Paula has taught since 2011 and has over 10 years teaching experience.

She is actively driving Cyber-Security research at the Centre for Informatics Research and Innovation (CIRI). Paula regularly publishes research reports and briefs in partnership with Serianu. She is also a member of The HoneyNet Project in Kenya - which is a global organization of Information Security researchers. She has also served in the ISACA Kenya Chapter board as a Special Programs Director and Academic Relations Co-ordinator. Paula is also passionate about mentoring the next generation of IS professionals and challenges them to excellence and integrity.
