Biography:

An Associate Professor of Analytical/Bioanalytical Chemistry focusing on the development and validation of biosensors for the detection of infectious diseases and integration of nanotechnology and health care in developing countries.

She is currently developing Nano-kits for rapid and sensitive diagnosis of Schistosomiasis and Fabrication of Nano-filters for water filtration as well as the green synthesis of Silver Nanoparticles. She is also interested in chemical safety and security, green chemistry and waste management.

Professor Naumih is very passionate about teaching, research and mentoring students.
