Areas of Interest & Specialization:
Identity, security, democratization and governance, development, Refugees studies, states borders and (in)securities, race and social problems, Terrorism, Counterterrorism, Violent Extremism, Counterviolence Extremism, and Africa & the Great powers politics. Equally, my publications traverse identity issue areas such as Xenophobia, ethnicity, security, development, race, social problems, state borders and the Great Powers and Africa politics. I serve as PhD dissertation/Masters external examiner in several universities in Africa in the given areas of interest & specialization.

Profile:
Dr. Agnes Behr - Assistant Professor Diplomacy & Foreign Policy in International Relations, School of Humanities, and Social Sciences (SHSS). She holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the National University of Lesotho (the Kingdom in the Sky), a Master’s in International Studies from the Institute of Diplomacy and International Studies University of Nairobi (UoN) and, a Ph.D. in International Relations from the United States International University-Africa (USIU-Africa).
