PAST EVENTS OF TOFAC

The Toyin Falola Conference is a gathering of scholars and researchers from all over the world to discuss issues that relate to Africa in the field of humanities.

The conference holds every first week of July in a designated African University. The previous editions had been hosted by the underlisted African Universities:

1st edition – University of Ibadan, Nigeria; July 2011;

2nd edition – CBAAC/ University of Lagos, Nigeria, July 2012;

3rd edition – Lead City University, Ibadan, Nigeria, July 2013;

4th edition – Free States University, Durban, South Africa, July 2014;

5th edition - University of Pretoria, South Africa, July 2015;

6th edition – Redeemer’s University of Nigeria, July 2016;

7th edition – Adeyemi College Of Education, Ondo, Nigeria, July 2017;

This conference is named after Professor Toyin Falola, a Nigerian and one of the world’s most distinguished scholars based in the University of Texas, Austin, United States of America.
