Biography:

Dr. Charity Muraguri is an Assistant Professor of Strategic Management at United States International University- Africa, Chandaria School of Business. She holds a PhD in Business Administration with specialization in Strategic Management from Kenyatta University and Masters in Business Administration from University of Nairobi, School of Business. She is a member of Kenya Institute of Management (K.I.M) AKIM and also member of African Studies Association of Africa (ASAA).

Dr. Muraguri is a strategic management enthusiastic and strategy execution consultant, certified mentor and coach with diverse experience in youth mentorship. Her work experience spans across more than 15 years in various capacities within teaching in strategic management and Office administration in several private universities. Dr. Muraguri is a seasoned facilitator and trainer and has been aggressively involved in research in the areas of strategic management, women leadership, corporate governance, strategic thinking, change management, organizational resilience and various forms of critical thinking. She has continuously supervised graduate students at PhD and master’s level and published several articles in refereed journals both locally and internationally as well as published a book and contributed towards a book chapter.

In addition, Dr. Muraguri is a passionate, trained and accredited mentor and Coach and thus an expert in student mentorship where she is involved in providing academic, personal and professional help in addition to playing a key role in the development of the USIU-A students mentorship manual. Dr. Muraguri is an active member in various groups and associations, has presented papers in several international conferences and contributed to various academic reports and articles. Further, she has advanced her consultancies and research capacity having participated in several consultancies and research studies both locally and internationally.
