We are pleased to inform you that, our alumnus Kenneth Ogwang, Class of 2017 (MBA, Strategic Management) was recently appointed Head of Digital and Technology, Diageo – South Africa.

Kenneth, our alumnus from Uganda, served as the Head of IT – EABL (East African Breweries Limited) from 2015 to 2018.

In 2019, he partnered with Safaricom to launch an IOT Asset tracking solution that is deployed to monitor location and performance of fridges in Kenya. In the same year, he was inducted into East Africa CIO Hall of Fame as a recognition by Industry peers for outstanding work in the IT field across East Africa (the award given by ICT Cabinet Secretary Mr. Joe Mucheru).

In addition, Kenneth, was in 2016, awarded CIO of the Year by CIO East Africa for roll out of a Distributor Management System. An award that recognizes and celebrates creativity, innovation and those pushing the bounds of creative excellence in all forms of emerging technologies.
