By Jacqueline Lidonde

Recently, key members of the Exness team—Jacob Wissum, Head of Government Affairs; Martin Thorvaldsson, Head of Community; and Paul Margarites, CEO of Exness (KE) Limited - visited the campus to engage with Exness scholars and explore opportunities to enhance the Exness scholarship program.

During their visit, the Exness representatives met with Dr. Lumbasi George, Chief of Admissions, and Lizbeth Ngeeta from the Financial Aid office. These USIU-Africa officials provided a comprehensive briefing on the current status of the Exness scholarship program and discussed potential strategies for its expansion.

USIU-Africa has partnered with Exness through its Global Scholarship Program to support academically talented young Kenyans who face financial challenges. This partnership is designed to offer these students access to world-class education in the field of Technology, helping them overcome financial barriers.

The Exness Scholarship at USIU-Africa offers full-cost scholarships to Kenyan students. These scholarships are available for first-time graduate degree applicants pursuing a Master’s in Information Security, as well as for continuing USIU-Africa undergraduate students (Juniors and Seniors) majoring in Data Science and Analytics or Software Engineering. By the end of their studies, Exness Scholars are expected to emerge as future leaders in their respective fields, armed with internationally recognized and locally applicable qualifications.

This visit underscores the commitment of Exness and USIU-Africa to empowering the next generation of tech leaders in Kenya, ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder the pursuit of academic excellence.
