The Academic Research Office organises annual Conferences and Colloquiums where the wider Faculty are able to share ideas. The Colloquiums are an opportunity for emerging scholars, conducting research in literary studies, cultural studies or critical theory, to present aspects of their work. The Colloquiums seek to provide a forum for stimulating academic exchange in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere.
Each Wednesday lunch hour, the research offcies holds a research colloquium for faculty who is working on a research or completed one share their ideas and receive inputs and critical reviews from colleagues and students. During the summer semester, the research office organizes public lectures on issues of importance as well as welcoming alumni presentations.
