Reference Collection

Have red label on the spine.

Cannot be checked out.

Includes almanacs, atlases, dictionaries, encyclopedias, indexes, statistics, yearbooks, directories, etc.

Short Loan Collection

Materials on high demand are placed here.

Back issues of newspapers both local and international.

Student projects, staff papers, and magazines.

Loaned for a limited period of time ranging from 30 minutes to 2 hrs.

Used in the library only.

Course Text Collection

Course text to meet core reading needs in specific area of study.

Materials issued for the whole semester.

Issued at the Issue Counter

Special collections

They are located on the 2nd Floor and nclude Americana, Africana and UN Collections

Materials from these collections can only be used within the Library.

Audiovisual Collection

This collection is located on the 1st floor.

Used in carrels or taken out

Return at the audiovisual issue counter.

Periodicals Collection

Current periodicals (recent 'loose' issues) arranged alphabetically by title.

Bound periodicals (Older issues bound as hardcover editions).

Use is restricted to the confines of the library.
