Organizational Communication Structure and function of vertical and horizontal communication in organizations at local, national, and international levels. Focuses on effective communication strategies for facilitating and achieving organizational goals. Case studies of selected organizational communication to illustrate the practical application of the concepts and principles underlying various models and approaches.

Document Production Study and application of principles of producing effective technical documents. Focuses on the relationship between page layout and readability, techniques for combining textual and non-textual information and the use of word processing and technical graphics software. Taught as a workshop in which students produce basic technical documents, such as brochures, data sheets, flyers, reports, and manuals.
