At USIU-Africa Center for Executive Education, we embody the collaborative spirit leaders need. With an interdisciplinary approach, our Center works closely with our Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Academic Affairs and facilitates collaboration between our Schools, esteemed faculty, and external partners.

From USIU-Africa To Global Leadership: Claire Ebois Transformative Journey

Photo: Courtesy.Claire Aduvuka Eboi is a seasoned human resource and talent management leader with over 15 years of experience spanning philanthropy, consulting, renewable energy, banking, and international development. She currently serves as Head of Human Resources - Africa at the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF), where she oversees people strategy, human resource operations, and organizational culture across the region. Prior to joining CIFF, she held senior human resource leadership roles at the Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet (GEAPP) and The Rockefeller Foundation, driving transformation, team building, and HR systems implementation across Africa.

Claire is an alumna of USIU-Africa, graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in International Business Administration (Class of 2010) and later earning her Master’s in Management and Organizational Development (Class of 2018, summa cum laude), where she also received the Top Student Award. She credits USIU-Africa’s rigorous academics, mentorship, and diverse community for shaping her global outlook and leadership journey.

Beyond her corporate work, Claire is passionate about mentorship and youth development, actively supporting young HR professionals and students in building confidence, capability, and leadership. She frequently speaks on career development and serves her alma mater with dedication, having chaired alumni events and contributed to strengthening alumni-community linkages.

Anchored by the USIU-Africa motto “Education to Take You Places,” Claire believes her time at the university gave her both the intellectual foundation and the values to thrive in purpose-driven leadership.

Her message to current students is: “Don’t be afraid to dream boldly. Your time at USIU-Africa is not just about what you study; it’s about shaping your vision for the future. Use these years to explore, to stretch your thinking, and to build relationships that will sustain you long after graduation. The world is changing fast, and those who pair knowledge with courage and curiosity will be the ones to shape it.”
