Program Description
This executive course helps learners develop topical skills in project management prerequisite in today’s dynamic and technological world. The program exposes learners to in-depth knowledge in the four major phases of project management which include; Initiation, Planning, Execution and Closure. It further explores the program implementation framework and draws relevant links between the two.

Course Learning Outcomes

1. Analyze the four stages of Program Management.
2. Interrogate and analyze the program implementation framework.
3. Evaluate and apply project management principles as supported by the current management functions of leading, creating, implementing and improving in organizational context.
4. Internalize management and continuous improvement principles, and apply them to enhance organizational performance.
5. Critically analyze the role of quality and performance management in the organizational supply chain, with the aim of improving the overall performance of organization’s value chains.
6. Interrogate and evaluate the creation of effective and efficient project and process teams with the aim of improving the performance of the
   organization.

Features:
Program Management Project
The project involves completing a project in area of specialization or participating in a relevant attachment.

Exams:
While no formal exams administered, various forms of assessments used such as case analyses, individual and group presentations.

Faculty:
USIU-Africa faculty, guest speakers and experienced practitioners in monitoring and evaluation.

Benefits:

• On successful completion of the program, participants are eligible for award of an Executive Diploma in Program Management and Implementation.
• Learners are allowed to use the USIU-Africa library.

Admission Requirements:

• Undergraduate Degree in any discipline
• NGO professional
• Two (2) passport size photos
• Identification documents (ID/Passport)
• Pay registration fee of KES 3,150 to USIU-Africa
